File Menu Options in Creo Illustrate
The File menu in Creo Illustrate allows you to perform commands from within Creo Illustrate when Creo Illustrate is connected to Windchill.
The following commands are available from the File menu in Creo Illustrate.

Import a file into your Creo Illustrate session
File > Open From Windchill or File > Open File
Open a Creo Illustrate illustration from Windchill into your active Creo Illustrate session
File > Place
Place a Creo Illustrate file from Windchill into your Creo Illustrate session
File > Preview
Preview a Windchill object within an active Creo Illustrate session before opening or placing it in Creo Illustrate
File > Publish
Create a CreoView (.pvz) file to the workspace and other folder locations
File > Save
Save a Creo Illustrate file to your workspace
File > Save As
Save a Creo Illustrate file as a different file name to your workspace
