Hiding the PTC Windchill Tab in AutoCAD Ribbon Menu
The Windchill tab can be hidden in AutoCAD ribbon using the wgm.hide.menus preference in the wgmclient.ini file.
The values for the wgm.hide.menus preference are:
• No (Default): By default Windchill tab is shown in AutoCAD ribbon menu
• Yes: The Windchill tab is hidden in AutoCAD ribbon menu
The preference needs to be set in the wgmclient.ini file under the AutoCAD section.

Even if thewgm.hide.menus preference is set to ‘Yes’ value and the Windchill tab is hidden in the AutoCAD ribbon menu, you can still use the PDM actions commands through the command prompt bar. All PDM actions commands are available except for ACADAPTER_LOAD_WGM_MENUS and ACADAPTER_RESET_MENUS.
