About Creating Software Builds
You can create a new software build using any of the actions in the following table:
Action
Description
Click New > New Document and then select Software Build from the Type list in the New Document window.
Creates a single software build using Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software. The software build can contain primary content from local files, URLs, or references to externally stored content.
Click New > New Multiple Documents and then select Software Build from the Type list in the New Document window.
Creates multiple software builds simultaneously in Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.
You can create a new software build from various locations throughout Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software:
• Actions menu on the Details page for a product or library
• Actions menu for a context on the Products or Libraries table
• Right-click actions menu from a folder on the Folder Contents table and other various tables
• Toolbar icons, such as New Document on various tables
