SQL Server 2008 R2
SQL Server 2008 R2 is not supported for Windchill 11.1. If your source system is set up in a SQL Server 2008 R2 environment, you must perform the following steps before upgrading to Windchill 11.1:
1. Upgrade your SQL Server Instance to 2012 or a later version. For details, refer to the MS SQL Server documentation.
2. Execute the Collation Conversion Utility to change the existing database collation from "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CS_AS" to the new, supported collation "Latin1_General_100_CS_AS_SC".
