Windchill Gateway for Cadence Allegro Design Workbench
The Windchill Gateway for Cadence Allegro Design Workbench is an adapter that allows ADW Library data to be managed in Windchill. It supports a “star” like architecture where multiple ADW libraries can be linked to a single Windchill server. This allows ADW data to be updated across multiple libraries automatically. The Cadence® Allegro® Design Workbench (ADW) Library is a library development and management environment that enables PCB librarians to create, validate, manage, and distribute library parts and their associated data for use with Allegro® PCB SI, and Allegro® PCB Editor.
Understanding Input Options
This section describes the options you can choose to install and configure ADW.
Under Optional Products, select Windchill Gateway for Cadence Allegro Design Workbench (ADW).
On the Define Settings screen, enter the following information:

ADW Server Host Name
|
Enter a host name. The host name must be fully qualified.

Port Number
|
Enter a valid port number within the range of 1 to 65535.
|
These fields are used to create an ADWServer Gateway adapter.
Post Installation Steps
