Ensures smooth transition to Flexible mode of change association without any impact on existing Change Management workflows.

Additional Details

For customers upgrading to Windchill 11.1 F000 or later, the default change association mode is:

• Mixed - if the system contains legacy change management objects.

• Flexible - if the system does not contain legacy change management objects.

For new installations of Windchill 11.1 F000 or later, the default mode is Flexible.

The table given below determines the target change association mode for the new and existing change links, objects, and classes.
