Installation Overview
The installation and configuration process for the gateway has the following steps:
1. Install the gateway components on the Windchill server.
2. Configure the Info*Engine adapter that is to be used to communicate with the Allegro Design Workbench client-side adapter.
3. Install the Allegro Design Workbench Library adapter on the Allegro Design Workbench Library machines.
Each of these steps is described in detail in this document.

On upgraded/updated Windchill servers, ADW must be configured after the ugprade/update is performed. If the ADW Gateway configuration is defined on the target 11.0 system before upgrading, then during the upgrade the configuration is lost. It is recommended to back up your source adapter before the upgrade. This can then be used post Windchill upgrade. For more information, see Post Windchill Server Upgrade Property Changes. |
