Updating an Existing Effectivity Value
To update an existing effectivity, use the following procedure in the Set Effectivity window for the desired traceable part:
1. Locate the desired effectivity in the Set Effectivity table.
2. Enter the desired value in the Value field. You can also modify the effectivity context, type, and qualifier.

The updated statement is treated like a new statement and the old statement is treated like a deletion.

3. Click Finish and you are returned to the page from which you launched the Set Effectivity action.
