Add an External Publication Reference
External publication references are references to publications that do not form part of the current publishing environment, for example, third-party component maintenance manuals.
To reference an external publication from a publication structure:
1. Select the node in the publication structure where you want to add the reference.
2. Select Insert New > Insert New External Publication Ref from the context menu.
The Create New External Publication Ref dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter the required details for the external publication reference.

4. Click Finish.
The external publication reference is added to the publication structure.
