Once your project integrator has set up a shared design project area on the Windchill server, has added you as a member of the project team, and has assigned ownership permission for designs that you need to complete, you can join the project and begin your work.

As you work, your Cadence Team Design Option dashboard is updated with status information, as shown in the following figure. For example, a padlock icon indicates whether a design is already checked out to you (unlocked), or has been checked out by another team member (locked). This enables members of the design team to monitor the status of all project designs at a glance.
