Windchill MPMLink explorers are in the process of being replaced by Windchill MPMLink browsers. The functionality provided by the browsers is similar, and in some cases more advanced than what is currently available in the explorers.

Also used to manage the associative relationships between engineering and manufacturing BOMs.

Provides the ability to define and manage the physical and human resources required to manufacture products. These resources could include physical plants, manufacturing resources, and resource groups.

Process Plan Browser (PPB)

Provides the ability to define process plans, which are the detailed descriptions of what needs to be done on the shop floor in order to produce, inspect, repair or maintain a given part or assembly.
