Viewing Change Summary Reports
Change management summary reports are available only if you have Windchill Business Reporting installed. The change management summary reports include the following:
• Problem Report Summary Report
• Change Request Summary Report
• Change Notice Summary Report
• Variance Summary Report
To view a summary report of a specific problem report, change request, change notice, or variance, select View Summary Report from the Actions list on the information page of the object.

You can also access the summary reports from the Reports menu under Change in the navigation pane.

Each summary report includes fields taken directly from the specific object. It also contains a signature list of individuals that are to be held accountable for the change. This signature list includes the role and full name of the individuals responsible for the task, as well as their signoff vote and date.
The Problem Report Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the problem report: Name, Number, Category, Requester, Created On, State, and Description. The report also contains the Affected Objects table if affected objects exist.
The Change Request Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the change request: Name, Number, Category, Complexity, Created By, Created On, State, Description, and Proposed Solution. The report also contains the Related Changes table if related changes exist.
The Change Notice Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the change notice: Name, Number, Complexity, Created By, Created On, State, and Description. It also contains any Related Changes, Summary of Changes, and Dispositions. This report also summarized differences in the bills of materials and documents related to parts and Windchill MPMLink objects (if Windchill MPMLink is installed).
The Variance Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the variance: Name, Number, Category, Created By, Variance Owner, Created On, State, and Description. The report also contains the Affected Objects table if affected objects exist.
