Adding and Removing Assemblies in the Assembly Editor
All assembly parts opened in the Advanced Assembly Editor appear both in the
Available Assemblies and the
Assembly Editor panes by default. When a large number of assembly parts have been opened, you can edit a smaller subset of the available part structures by using the remove from the assembly editor icon
and add to assembly editor icon
.
Removing Assemblies from the Assembly Editor using the Available Assembles Pane
Select one or more assembly parts in the
Available Assemblies pane and either click the remove from assembly editor icon
or select
Remove from Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assemblies disappear from the
Assembly Editor pane but remain visible in the
Available Assemblies pane.
| Remove from Assembly Editor is only available from the right-click menu when all the selected assemblies are currently displayed in the Assembly Editor pane. |
Removing Assemblies Directly from the Assembly Editor Pane
Use the radio button to select one assembly column in the Assembly Editor pane and select Remove from Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assembly disappears from the Assembly Editor pane but remains visible in the Available Assemblies pane.

Adding Available Assemblies to the Assembly Editor
Select one or more assembly parts in the
Available Assemblies pane and click the add to assembly editor icon
or select the
Add to Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assemblies are displayed in the
Assembly Editor pane.
