Limitations For Versioned Test Documents
For versioned test documents, note the following limitations:
Adding a versioned test case in a test session by a drag-and-drop operation is not supported.
The addition of versioned test cases using the Select button in the Finder window is not supported.
Some views display the internal IDs of versioned test cases that were added to a test session. For example, the Test Results view and Test Result view display the internal IDs of versioned test cases.
The Web UI does not support addition of versioned test items and marking results for versioned test cases.
For CLI commands:
You cannot specify the versioned IDs of versioned test cases with the tm results command when the command is used with the --suiteID option or the --caseID option. Specify the internal IDs of the versioned test cases.
The internal ID of a versioned test case is displayed in the output of the tm results and tm viewresult commands.
The tm createresult command with the --gui option does not support versioned test cases.
You cannot specify the versioned ID with the tm extractattachments command for extracting attachments from a versioned test case. Specify the internal ID of the versioned test case.
The Tests field value displays the internal ID of the versioned test suite and versioned test case in the output of the im viewissue command.

To display the internal IDs of versioned test cases, an administrator can create an integer field, add computed expression as ID and make this field visible on the Test Case item type. For more information on creating a computed field, see To create a computed field.
