PTC RV&S provides you with the ability to edit items using the Microsoft Word editor already installed on your system (referred to in this documentation as the Word editor).

Items are edited in a Word editor that is opened inside the PTC RV&S client, giving you access to Microsoft Word functionality while still using the PTC RV&S client. When you are finished using the editor, items are saved back to PTC RV&S for you.
