Understand PTC RV&S Agent
|
• Understand how PTC RV&S Agent works.
|
|
Install PTC RV&S Agent(s) on remote machine(s)
|
• Install PTC RV&S Agent to the applicable directory. The PTC RV&S Agent installer is located on the PTC RV&S DVD in ../Installs/agent.
• If necessary, uninstall PTC RV&S Agent.

Configure PTC RV&S Agent
*Restart PTC RV&S Agent after configuration
|
• Specify your chosen security realm in the security.properties file (MKS Domain is not supported, use Flat File instead).
• Add users (password.properties) and groups (groups.properties) if Flat File security realm chosen.
• Enable logging, if desired.
