Customizing the Layout of the Test Result Editor
Based on your preferences you can customize the layout of the Test Result Editor. You can expand or collapse the Test Case Details pane using the . You can also use the splitter between the Test Case Structure pane and the Test Case Details pane to change the width of the panes.

After resizing the panes by dragging the splitter, the changed proportion of both the Test Case Structure pane and Test Case Details pane is retained for every new instance.
Customizing the Layout of the Test Result Tab in the Test Case Details Pane
You can customize the layout of the Test Results tab using the following layout options available when you click Layout icon in the Test Case Details pane:
• Expanded: Select this layout option to show a 2–column display for the Test Results tab. The Additional Result Fields are displayed in a separate column.
• Compact: Select this layout to show a single column display of the Test Results tab. The Additional Result Fields are displayed in the same column as the Test Details.
• Auto: Select this option to set the layout of the Test Results tab to expanded or compact depending on the available width of the Test Case Details pane.
• Customize: Select this option to customize the layout of the expanded view of the Test Results tab as follows:
1. Click Layout.
2. Select Customize. The Customize window opens. The window contains three panes with the Select Section list.
3. In each pane, under the Select Section list, select the component that you want to view in the corresponding pane of the Test Results tab.
4. Click Proceed. The expanded view of the Test Results tab changes according to your selection. This display is retained for all future sessions.
