Test Steps Tab
The Test Steps tab displays the test steps for the selected live or versioned test case. The Test Steps tab is enabled only under the following conditions:
The administrator has enabled test steps for the test case.
The selected test case has test steps in it.
The Test Steps table displays the following columns by default:
: Displays the system verdict icon or the custom verdict icon as defined by the administrator.
Order: Displays the order ID of the test step.
ID: Displays the ID of the test step.
Title: Displays the title for the test step.
Verdict: Displays the current verdict for the test step. The value is a system verdict, or a custom verdict defined by the administrator.
Annotation: Displays the current annotation for the test step.
You can edit the verdict and annotation of a test step to execute it.
Click in the required cell in the verdict column to select the appropriate verdict from the Verdict list. The Verdict list displays all the available system and custom verdicts.
Click inside the annotation cell to open the annotation editor. The maximum number of allowed characters in the Annotation column is 4000.

A warning message is displayed if you navigate from the Test Steps tab with unexecuted test steps in it and try to edit a field in any other tab of the Test Case Details pane.
You can add columns to the test steps table using the Column Manager. The column manager includes all the item type fields for test steps as defined by the administrator. Once configured, the column configuration is retained for all future sessions. For more information, see Using the Column Manager.

The , Verdict, and Annotation columns are fixed and cannot be removed.
