Configuring DocStudio Display from the Windchill RV&S Administration Client
You can configure the document title in the Header, the text content in the Outline pane, and columns in the Content pane by editing the value of certain properties in the Windchill RV&S administration client.
Configuring the Document Title
To display the title of the document the administrator must set the MKS.ItemTitleField property in the Windchill RV&S administration client. The value of this property is displayed as the title of the document in the Header. The administrator can set this property for all document types. For more information, see Defining the Default Columns in DocStudio Using the DocStudio Tab.
Configuring the Outline Pane
Configuring the display of text content in the OUTLINE pane
Text displayed in the Outline pane of DocStudio can help you understand and locate content easily in a document. You can use the MKS.PrimaryTextField property in the Windchill RV&S administration client for displaying text content of a desired field in the OUTLINE pane. For more information, see Defining Type Properties.
Configuring the Columns in the Content pane
From the Windchill RV&S administration client, you can configure the columns in the Content pane by adding them to the Default Fields column. The Default Fields column is available in the DocStudio tab of the Edit Type window under Presentations. For more information, see Defining the Default Columns in DocStudio Using the DocStudio Tab.

Once the administrator configures the default fields, then the new configuration settings take effect and your previous configuration is discarded. You can go back to your earlier settings by manually updating the column configuration in the Column Manager.
