Editing Indicators in DocStudio
When editing a document, DocStudio provides visual indicators in the first column. You can use these visual indicators to know about the edits in the document. Click 
in the OUTLINE pane to view the content legend for documents.

The following visual indicators are displayed in the first column of DocStudio during an edit operation:
• New item indicator
1. New item indicator
2. Mandatory field indicator
indicates that the item is new. The indicator disappears when you save the item.• Moved item indicator
1. Moved item indicator
indicates a moved item. The icon disappears when you save the document.• Modified item indicator

indicates that the item is modified but not saved. The indicator disappears when you save the item.• Empty mandatory field indicator

2. Edited item indicator
indicates that a mandatory field is empty. The indicator disappears after you enter a value in the mandatory field and save the item.
