Key Considerations for Cross-cutting Perspectives
Consider the following when working with cross-cutting perspectives:
The default fields from DocStudio are added as columns in the cross-cutting perspective.
The AS OF column in the cross-cutting perspective is blank if content is not added with asOf date or asOf label configuration, which means it is either a live or versioned content.
If any content is added from DocStudio with asOf label configuration, the AS OF column in the cross-cutting perspective displays the asOf date value instead of asOf label value.
*
However, if the content is added with asOf label configuration using API, the cross-cutting perspective displays the asOf label value in the AS OF column.
If a label from such content is deleted, the content is still considered valid.
A content is considered invalid in the context of a cross-cutting perspective in the following cases:
The content is deleted.
The content is moved from one document to another document.
The label or baseline is deleted.
The content is not accessible.
The label or baseline is moved to a later date or time.
A strikethrough denotes the invalidity of the content.
API commands for cross-cutting perspectives cannot be executed through trigger scripts.
