When creating branched documents, you can apply query filters on the input document to filter content items or nodes matching the specified filter criteria.

Filtering of a branched document is only possible using the Windchill RV&S API or the CLI.

The use cases in this chapter show the output of a branched document when filter criteria are applied on the input document. Use cases are also provided to show the branched document that is created when options to exclude, include, or reference sub segments are used.
