The Windchill RV&S server supports e-mail addresses on LDAP-compliant security realms and on MKS Domain.

If you are using an LDAP-compliant security realm, e-mail addresses are added to user profiles in the Windchill RV&S administration client when they are imported or when they log in for the first time. You cannot edit e-mail addresses in the Windchill RV&S administration client. Instead, edit e-mail addresses in the LDAP realm.

If you are using the MKS Domain security realm, you can edit e-mail addresses. You need to refresh your users and groups to see your changes in Windchill RV&S. For more information on working with the MKS Domain, see the Windchill RV&S Installation and Upgrading Guide.
