The Proxy Cache
The proxy cache stores two basic types of information:
• metadata
• bulk data
Metadata is information about a revision or member history, as opposed to the information that is part of the object. For example, the revision description of a member history is metadata, while the actual content of the revision represents bulk data. Metadata can include lock information, lists of members/subprojects, and project and member labels.
Bulk data is the information that is part of the revision itself. For example, the text content of a code file or the binary content of a word processing file both represent bulk data.
