Add a label
|
On the Labels tab in the Item Details view:
• In the GUI, right-click in the labels field and select Add Item Label. • In the Web interface, click . In the Label field, type the name of the label for the item. For example, Release ABC. In the Comment field, type a comment to associate with the label. Select the applicable As Of option from the list. The default date is the current date and time (Now). Click OK. The new label displays in the labels field. For more information about viewing historical item details, see “Viewing a Historical Item”. In the GUI, you can also add a label in the Items view by selecting an item and selecting Add Item Label.

Move a label

On the Labels tab in the Item Details view:
• In the GUI, right-click in the labels field and select Move Item Label, and then select the label you want to move from the list. • In the Web interface, click . Select the label you want to move. Select the To Date you want to move the label to. Click OK. The default date is the current date and time (Now). The From Date indicates the date associated with the label you are moving. The label details in the labels tab indicates the new date associated with the As Of option you selected. In the GUI, you can also move a label in the Items view by selecting an item and selecting Move Item Label. |

Delete a label

On the Labels tab in the Item Details view:
• In the GUI, right-click the label you want to delete and select Delete Item Label. • In the Web interface, select the label you want to delete and click . In the GUI, you can also delete a label in the Items view by selecting an item, selecting Delete Item Label, and then selecting the item label you want to delete. In the GUI, you can also delete a label by selecting Delete Label dialog box. > > , then specifying the item ID. Then when prompted, select the label from the If document versioning is enabled, you can also specify versioned items. To type the ID of a versioned item, use the format Live Item ID-major.minor, for example, 184-1.2. |
