If you no longer want to use a template for a given item type, you can delete that template. You cannot delete a presentation template that is still set for an item type. You must first set a new template for the type and then delete the presentation template.

Deleting a template is carried out from the Edit Type window using the Delete function. Once a template is deleted for a given type, you must set a new template—either a default template or one created by you. If you do not set a new template, Windchill RV&S notifies you with an error message and automatically applies the default templates.
