To define a field rule in the GUI

1. From the Create Field or Edit Field dialog box, click the Rules tab. The Rules panel displays.
2. Click New. The Rules Wizard for New Field dialog box displays.
3. Type a name for the rule.
4. Select a template to use for the rule. The rule description displays in the field below.
5. Click a rule parameter (with links shown in blue) in the rule description. A dialog box displays, allowing you to set the value(s) for the parameter.
Repeat this step until there are values set for all the required parameters in the rule.
6. Click OK. The rule displays in the Rules tab.
