Deleting Groups
You can delete a group only if it has not appeared in your history. You cannot delete a group if that group has been referenced anywhere in the system, for example, if there are no items assigned to this group and no member of this group has submitted or edited an item.
Deleting a group only removes that group from the
Windchill RV&S database; it does not remove the group from the realm. For information on deleting admin provided objects, see
Admin Provided Objects.

You can delete inactive groups that are not in realm.

You can delete more than one group at a time.
To delete a group in the GUI
1. From the Groups view, select the group(s) you want to delete.
2. Select > .
3. To confirm the deletion, click Yes.
