Importing Users
The import feature is helpful for adding users who have not yet auto-registered by logging in or for adding a number of users at one time. To avoid retrieving all users from your authentication domain at once and exceeding the performance limits of the Windchill RV&S server, the Windchill RV&S administration client provides a text search function that allows you to search for users in your authentication domain. You can then select the users returned by the search and import them into Windchill RV&S.

To perform a mass import of non-realm users, use the im importuser command. For more information, see the CLI man pages.
When importing user names from Source Integrity Standard Edition, the import preserves the letter case.
