By default, Windchill RV&S displays an error message whenever a user enters an invalid value for a field or leaves an empty mandatory field. The messages are based on tokens that define the fields and values being configured.

When you are creating or editing constraints, you can also customize the content of the error messages that will be displayed to users. The custom error messages are then displayed whenever a user enters an invalid value for a field or an empty value for a mandatory field.
