Script Library for Workflow and Document Triggers
Workflow and document event triggers use pre-created scripts from a server-side library. You can modify existing scripts or add new ones to build the library over time.
Windchill RV&S provides pre-created scripts, which are available in the script library found in:
installdir/data/triggers/scripts
The list of pre-created scripts provided may vary depending on the server implementation of an organization. Some of the pre-created scripts available include:
• assignment.js automatically assigns an item based on a file-driven set of criteria.
• signatureRequired.js requires an electronic signature for changes to items.
• sum.js computes simple metrics through a relationship tree. This trigger is automatically installed by the Rules panel when editing fields and when a Summation of Relationship Tree rule is installed.
