Fields
In Windchill RV&S, fields are categories of data associated with items. Windchill RV&S has a standard set of default fields. However, you can also create custom fields.
Test result fields
A test result field is used for entering performance- or measurement-related data used for reporting purposes or for queries. It is a field defined by the administrator for use on test results. A Test Result Field is associated with a single Test Result type.
The following attributes for fields and test result fields are available for localization:
• Display Name
• Description

If you open Windchill RV&S in the locale (set in the localization property) and create or edit the fields, the display name and the description for the field are visible only in that locale.
