Updating User, Group, IBPL, and Multiple Pick Fields
While creating a new item or editing an item in the Refreshed Web Interface, you can update the values of following types of fields by using a window provided for selecting values:
User field: Select users
Group field: Select groups
IBPL field: Select values
Multiple value pick list fied: Select values for the pick list
Perform the following steps to update the values of the above-mentioned fields:
1. Access the edit mode of the Refreshed Web Interface while creating a new item or editing an existing item.
2. Click in area of the field to be edited. A window that enables you to select values opens.

The list displayed in the window depends upon the constraints applied on the field.
3. If the field is configured to allow users to select a single value, you can assign a single value as follows:
Select a value from the Available list and click to move the value to the Selected list.
Click Proceed to save the changed and close the window.
Click Save.
4. If the field is configured to allow users to select more than one value, you can assign multiple values as follows:
Select one or more values from the Available list and click to move the value to the Selected list. To move all available values to the Selected list, click .
Click Proceed to save the changed and close the window.
The selected values are added to the field. For multiple pick fields, the number adjacent to more is a count of values for the field. This count does not include the value currently displayed for the field. You can click +more to open the window if further updates are required.
Click Save.

If the values in the Selected list are invalid for user, group, or multiple value pick fields, the Proceed option is disabled and an appropriate error message is displayed.

If a user or group has been made inactive in the system, the status of the user or group in the Selected list is shown as Inactive during an active edit operation.
The Save operation cannot be completed and an appropriate error message is displayed in the following cases:
Inactive users or groups are selected.
A field has an invalid value.
User or group names contain a comma.
