Creating Project Backing Items
Project administrators with appropriate permissions to create an instance of an item can create project backing items using the Windchill RV&S client GUI.
To proceed, you need to identify which item types in Windchill RV&S have the Back Projects type attribute enabled. Item type attributes are defined by your system administrator.
To create project backing items:
1. Create an item of a Type that has the Back Projects type attribute enabled.
2. Set the Project field value on the item to the project where you want to capture metadata.
3. Save changes to the item by clicking Apply or OK.
