Closing the Client
You can close the Windchill RV&S client so that it is no longer displayed on the desktop, but stays running in the background, and logged in with client windows intact.
Do one of the following:
• Select > .
• Click Close at the top right-hand corner of the Windchill RV&S client window.

By default, these commands close the Windchill RV&S client; however, you can also configure them to shutdown the Windchill RV&S client.

Even though the client is not displayed on the desktop, it is still running in the background. On Windows, a running client is indicated by
in the system tray.
Display the client by doing one of the following:
• On Windows, right-clicking the Windchill RV&S client icon in the system tray and selecting Open.
• On Windows, double-clicking the Windchill RV&S client icon in the system tray.
