Simplified User Management Administrator Permissions
Using the Simplified User Management feature, a Simplified User Management (SUM) administrator can perform group, project, and user management tasks. The tasks that a user can perform are governed by the type of permissions that are assigned to the user. A Windchill RV&S administrator can assign administrative privileges to a user to act as SUM administrator.
Granting SUM administrative privileges to a user for Workflow & Documents
• A user with Admin permission for mks:im ACL
OR
• mksis.im.sum.admin.permissions=CreateProject,CreateType property available in is.properties and user with either of the two permissions set to Allowed for mks:im ACL.
Granting SUM administrative privileges to a user for Configuration Management
• A user with Update permission defined for mks:aa:mks:si ACL.
If Update permission is not defined at this level, check Update permission for mks:aa:mks ACL.
OR
• mksis.si.sum.admin.permissions=CreateProject,ResolveOtherUserPermissions property available in is.properties and user with either of the two permissions set to Allowed for mks:si ACL.
