To add a cross-reference (GUI only)
1. From the Document view, highlight the text or click the location where you want to add the cross-reference.
2. From the Insert list on the rich content toolbar, select Cross Reference.
3. In the Name field, type the name of the bookmark that you want to cross-reference.
4. The Display field specifies how to represent the cross-reference in the rich content field.
If you highlighted text in the rich content field, the text displays in the field and no action is required.

Overwriting the existing text label replaces the highlighted text in the rich content field.
If you did not highlight text in the rich content field, type a text string in the field, for example, Refer to Figure 7-2.
To represent the cross-reference as an attachment image, select Attachment Image and click Browse to locate the image.
To represent the cross-reference as URL image, select URL Image and click Browse to locate the image.
5. To add the cross-reference, click OK.
