Backup strategy
Before starting an exchange with Windchill Requirements Connector, define a backup strategy for your project data and the replication databases. Temporary data can be disregarded.
• Backup time
◦ Make sure that during the backup the project data is not in use.
• Backup time interval and type
◦ Define the backup interval: daily, weekly or monthly. Also define the backup type: full, incremental or differential.

PTC recommends that you perform a full backup of your project data each day.

• Restore
◦ Ensure via restore that the backup is working.
