Highlights
PTC Integrity Requirements Connector 3.3 M040 includes the following highlights:
• Merge and split of attributes
◦ Requirements Connector now supports merging a set of attributes into one text field as a table preserving data type, structure and value
◦ During export these merged attributes will be split up again restoring the original data types and structure
• Filtered Pick Lists
◦ Requirements Connector now can filter Pick Lists (including Item Based Pick Lists) to export only an attribute definition that includes values that have been used at least once within the document
◦ This is an optional feature and Requirements Connector will always synchronize changes (additions) before export if enabled
• ID mismatch handling
◦ Requirements Connector now has the ability to move on with exchanges despite an ID mismatch
◦ The user will be made aware of that mismatch and still has the ability to resolve the conflict
• Improved migration of DOORS table formatting to Integrity Lifecycle Manager
◦ Requirements Connector now has improved the alignment and column span formatting when migrating DOORS tables to Integrity Lifecycle Manager
• Removal of Java Runtime Environment from the installer
◦ Due to the new support and license terms of Oracle, Requirements Connector will no longer provide the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) within the installer
◦ The JRE that is installed on the same machine as Requirements Connector will be used instead
◦ Please make sure that you use Java 1.8 or later to run Requirements Connector
◦ Please make sure that you use a matching Java version to Requirements Connector (32bit or 64bit)
◦ If the path to your JRE is not found automatically you can additionally define the location within the PTCIntegrityRequirementsConnector.ini file in your installation directory by using the following statement: -vm <Path to Java>\bin\javaw.exe. Please make sure to enter this value before the —vmargs statement
