Release 3.3

Highlights

PTC Integrity Requirements Connector 3.3 includes the following highlights:

• DOORS Next Generation Export adapter

◦ PTC Integrity Requirements Connector can now export ReqIF from DOORS Next Generation

◦ This allows the migration of data from DOORS Next Generation to PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager

• Unmap attributes

◦ Attributes that have been mapped to an incorrect attribute can now been unmapped with the administration tool

◦ A remapping to the right attribute can be done during the next update with the Requirements Connector

◦ The unmapping process will be reported within the Requirements Connector project folder

• Remote API enhancements

◦ The operation status for each document can now be obtained separately

◦ Information whether an attribute is a system attribute or read-only can be requested as well

• Mapping of data types to String and XHTML attributes

◦ The following types can now be mapped to String / XHTML attributes in PTC Integrity Lifecylce Manager:

▪ Pick list / enumeration

▪ Integer

▪ Real

▪ Double

▪ Date

◦ The types will be converted back to their original type during re-export

UI improvements

◦ The handling of exchanging files with multiple object types (e.g. coming from DOORS Next Generation) has been enhanced with a wizard

◦ Multi selection during roundtrip configuration has been improved and can be done via context menu including:

▪ Exporting and creating labels / baselines

▪ Selecting perspectives / views for export and import

▪ Converting to native or OLE selection

▪ Selecting import options create, move, delete, track changes

▪ Selecting, creating and deleting relations / links

◦ Document and attribute tables can now be exported as CSV

◦ Pre-filled information e.g. when using the connection wizard will now be marked with < >

◦ Improved in-place editing of document and attribute tables within the roundtrip configuration

ARS-1959	Div in italic tag leads to invalid file
ARS-1964	Working in parallel on different projects is not possible
ARS-1968	When changing the refactoring of a document after first import, the roundtrip needs to be closed/re-opened for the changes to take effect
ARS-1969	Update of DOORS attribute "Object Short Text" not possible
ARS-1970	Exception when migrating 1.x to 2.x to 3.x
ARS-1971	XHTML objects cannot be imported to DOORS if type attribute is missing
ARS-1986	RTF with hyperlink leads to broken export
ARS-1990	External links that have no description cannot be imported into DOORS
ARS-1993	Newline is missing when transferring text from DOORS to Integrity Lifecycle Manager
ARS-1997	Warn user if String / Text has no valid limit before import into Intergity Lifecycle Manager
ARS-2002	Format issues with newlines
ARS-2005	Refactoring of objects that are referenced multiple times leads to strange error
