Highlights
PTC Integrity Requirements Connector 3.2 includes the following highlights:
Integrity Lifecycle Manager perspective support
Exchange of filtered requirements based on perspectives
DOORS specific external link exchange to files / documents / http links
Transfer of external links (DOORS specific) between DOORS and Integrity Lifecycle Manager
RIF / ReqIF validation
Option to validate RIF / ReqIF files against the corresponding schema separately
All flaws will be marked and can be inspected within Requirements Connector
Optional confidential warning
Option to display a user defined privacy warning upon creation of projects
Option to block the saving of project data inside the workspace instead of a shared restricted drive
Optional extension of enumeration literals
Option to allow the extension of enumerations
Deletions of literals will not be allowed
All changes will be displayed within the diff compare and exchange log
Necessary DOORS table system attributes will be selected for export automatically
In order to transfer style information like table width and colspan, Requirements Connector will now add the needed system attributes to the export configuration
Option to configure whether those attributes should be added automatically and whether they should be shown in the configuration at all
Additionally the exchange of table formatting has been improved
Setting of license information during installation
The license information (path or server) can now be set during installation
Optionally a license environment variable (IRC_LICENSE) may be set for the SYSTEM or the current user
Both are possible during UI or silent installation
Changes are marked in diff view
Changes are marked with color for quick checking and convenience
Changes of characters like space, tab and newline will also be compared and marked accordingly
Requirements that could not be deleted due to e.g. incoming links will be marked in the change tracking attributes accordingly
Export default values explicitly
Option to export default values explicitly
Differences in attribute definitions will be checked during validation
Differences in attribute definitions like type, enumeration literals, default values and min/max values will be checked during validation
The checks can be configured in the preferences
DOORS module locks optional on current version
Module locks during export will only be set if the current version is selected
This setting is optional and can be changed in the preferences
Search functionality to find documents that already have been imported
Option to check whether the selected file has already been imported using another project
UI improvements
Target path can now be selected in the document table as well
The user now can drag&drop ReqIF/RIF /*.reqifz /*.zip files to the import configuration
The import tab has a “view” filter option as well as the export tab
Multi-selection during roundtrip configuration to apply settings to multiple documents
Support for Oracle 12
Requirements Connector now supports Oracle 12 for global replication
Support for Windows 10
Requirements Connector now supports Windows 10
Improved performance when using global replication
When using the global replication performance has been improved significantly
Progress report during batch mode
The progress output has been improved to show more details
Additionally the user can set the step time to define how frequent the progress will be checked
