Highlights

PTC Integrity Requirements Connector 3.1 includes the following highlights:

• RIF 1.1a Support

◦ Support for legacy RIF format 1.1a

◦ The user is now able to export and import files in the RIF 1.1a format as well

• Batch mode automation

◦ The user is able to execute import and export operations via batch script automatically without starting the UI

◦ The configuration to be executed has to be predefined using the UI

• Automation API

◦ The user is able to automate all tasks that can be done with the UI

◦ A Java API is provided that can be triggered programmatically (e.g. via website)

◦ The Integrity Requirements Connector can be executed headless based on a client server architecture

• Sub-documents in Integrity Life Cycle Manager

◦ Documents that are included within other documents can now be exchanged between Integrity Lifecycle Manager instances

◦ A roundtrip between Integrity Lifecycle Manger and IBM DOORS is possible as well — please consider the following:

▪ The documents will be imported separately into DOORS

▪ The reference node to a sub-document will be skipped in DOORS

▪ Coming back from DOORS to Integrity Lifecycle Manager the option Delete Objects should be deactivated to prevent removal of the reference node in Integrity Lifecycle Manager

• DOORS DXL addins

◦ The user is able to provide a path to DXL addins that should be used during connection

◦ The following options are available:

▪ Dxl addins(-a)

▪ Attribute addins(-A)

▪ Layoutattribute addins(-L)

▪ Project addins(-J)
