Working with the Information Structure in S1000D
The information structure is familiar to anyone already working with S1000D SNS structures.
The Windchill Service Information Manager - S1000D Module information structure has the advantage that it can be customized to behave in project-specific ways. For example:
• The number of structure levels can be specified.
• Constraints can be placed on the number and type of nodes that are allowed as children of others.
• Constraints can be placed on the number and type of nodes that are allowed as siblings of others.
• Constraints can be placed on the way nodes are named. Patterns can be specified for the number and type of characters to be used in names.
