Include S1000D Attributes for Parts
In a default installation that includes the Windchill Service Information Manager - S1000D Module, the AAD Supplementary Information group of S1000D-specific part attributes is available for part types Part, Electrical Part, and Software Part:
• NATO Supply Class
• Codification Bureau
• NATO Identification Number
Contact your system administrator if you want different part types to show the attributes.
To change the list of part types that include the AAD Supplementary Information attributes, an xconf property update is required:
1. Access the xconfmanager utility
2. Use the xconfmanager to add a value to the property rulesSupportedTypes
The value you add should represent the part type that you want to include the AAD Supplementary Information attributes.
Enter the part type in this format:
wt.part.WTPart|com.acme.myCustomType
If a part type exactly matches one of the entries in the list of types set for rulesSupportedTypes, that part type will include the AAD Supplementary Information attributes when the Windchill Service Information Manager - S1000D Module is installed.
3. Propagate the changes as required.
