Associating a Software Build with Windchill Objects
Integrity Source (SCM), IBM Rational ClearCase and Subversion adapters can be associated with a software build with
• standard Windchill parts, documents, and their subtypes
and with
• content that resides in the remote software configuration management system.
You can associate a software build with these objects as follows:
1. Navigate to the software build information page.
2. Click the Related Objects tab.
3. Perform the following actions:
◦ Click
on the
Actions toolbar of the
References Documents table to associate a software build with a document or any of its subtypes.
◦ Select
Associate New from the
Actions list of the
Describes Parts table to associate a part or any of its subtypes to a software build.

Integrity,
IBM Rational ClearCase and
Subversion customers can view report information on software builds when the software build is associated to the related
Integrity,
IBM Rational ClearCase or
Subversion content using a specific set of attributes. For attributes information, refer to the
