Failure Effects Overview
Failure effects are shared across all parts within an organization. Having a master list of failure effects allows users to understand how a particular failure effect impacts all the products created by an organization.
Failure effects are stored in quality contexts. This storage allows customers to have either a single failure effect quality context for global usage or multiple quality contexts to allow for differentiation across product lines or other elements.
To access failure effects, go to your quality context and click Failure Effects.
The Failure Effects table contains the following items:
Name of the effect.
Number of the effect.
Suggested Severity
Most common severity of the effect.
