Adding Content to a Replication Package
The Add to Package window or Add Context step allows you to alter the contents of a replication package by adding or removing a context or set of contexts from the Contexts table. Objects that are included in the package are based on the objects that reside in the contexts associated with the package.
Only product or library contexts can be added to a replication package.
1. Use one of the following actions to add contexts to a replication package:
Click the add to package icon on the Package Content table.
Select Add to Package from the right-click action menu of the replication package.
Select the Add Context step when creating a new replication package.
The Add to Package window opens, allowing you to add or remove contexts from the replication package.
2. To add a context, click the add contexts icon . The Find Context window opens, allowing you to select a context type and specify all or part of the context name, description, owner, or state. Select a context from the Search Results table and click OK. The context appears in the Contexts table. To remove a context, select the context from the table and click the remove selected contexts icon .
3. Click OK to add the objects in the selected contexts to the package and close the window.
Any new package content objects appear in the Package Content table.
Replication packages are not listed in the Included in Delivery, Included in Package Contents, or Included in Package Initially Selected tables on the information page of an object that is included in a replication package. Only packages, technical data packages, CDRL packages, or SDRL packages in which the object is included are listed in these tables.
