Windchill Service Information Manager — S1000D Module: Use Multiple Figures from a PVZ File
Product: Windchill Service Information Manager — S1000D Module
Release: 11.1 F000
Benefit
A user has a choice for referencing the figures in an illustration when working with graphics based on .c3di (primary content) and .pvz (secondary content) files.
Additional Details
The value of the preference Insert Multiple Figures specifies which figures in the .pvz file should be included when content that references the illustration is output. There are two options:
The default figure
All figures in the .pvz
The preference is located in the Service Information Management > S1000D Service Information Management category in the Preference Management utility.
Corresponding graphic references will be included in content:
When Illustrated Parts Data (IPD) content is generated, or during content synchronization
Synchronization of the IPD takes place at two stages:
at each state transition from Work in Progress
after a checkin of the document
If the preference value is changed for the product at any time, it will affect existing IPDs the next time they are transitioned.
When a data module (DM) is published to PDF or Servigistics InService bundle
When a DM is exported in an S1000D package
