The import process for S1000D information has been simplified to reduce the amount of processing and eliminate subsequent user action to complete the process.
Additional Details
These improvements have been implemented for the Windchill S1000D content import process:
• All import processing is completed by the time the import process is finished. No further system or user action is required.
• The Imported state for a data module no longer requires a workflow to complete the import process. This reduces the demands placed on the system.
• New logging information can be output to the method server to list what objects should be created, based on the content of the import package. This enables improved troubleshooting.
