Structure Pane of a Manufacturing Explorer

The structure of an object is viewed in the left pane of the explorer window. Information about the object selected in the structure then displays in the tabs of the right pane.

Clicking the expander (+) does not select an object; it simply expands the structure of that assembly in the left pane, leaving the right pane unaffected. When working with the Manufacturing Product Structure Explorer it is possible to display both the upstream and the downstream BOMs in dual navigation panes. Next to the expander (+ or -) a part icon displays. If the part is an assembly one of the following icons indicates the current structure view for the assembly.

Icon	Description
	Indicates that the child parts of the assembly are expanded in BOM view. Clicking the icon expands the child parts in occurrence view.
	Indicates that the child parts of the assembly are expanded in occurrence view. Clicking the icon expands the child parts in BOM view.
